I've had dogs all my life, starting with an Australian Shepherd as a child (LONG before there
was any thought of AKC recognition), more Aussies after college graduation, then Belgian Tervuren when I wanted an AKC-recognized
breed. I've had Pembroke Welsh Corgis since 1974 and Goldens since 1982. Currently I pet a charming Pem bitch
with one hand while stroking a loving Golden male with the other. I'm AKC-approved to judge the Herding Group,
Miscellaneous breeds, Jr. Showmanship and Best in Show. I am a co-founder of NCHGA and am delighted to work for the
missions of our very special organization.
